• Wear your bandage for one (1) to three (3) hours. If you have TatuDerm, leave for twenty-four (24) hours before following the next steps.

• Clean your hands with clear, non-antibacterial hand soap before removing the bandage and/or touching your tattoo.

​

• After removing the bandage, rinse your tattoo in lukewarm water and apply clear, non-antibacterial hand soap, using a circular motion to clean the tattoo. 

​

• Rinse with cold water to close pores.

​

• Let the tattoo air dry for at least one (1) hour -- do not pat dry, do not rub dry, do not use hand towels as lint and microscopic debris can become caught in your tattoo and hinder the healing process. 

​

• Apply a very thin layer of HustleButter or a fragrance-free lotion after allowing your tattoo to dry. Your tattoo should not appear wet and/or greasy.

​

• Continue the above process for two (2) days, washing your tattoo twice daily.

​

• After the initial two (2)  days, you may use a white, fragrance-free lotion (Curel, Jergens, etc.) for the next seven (7) days, continuing to wash twice daily.
